Rides Breakdown

Guests will come to a crossroads where they can choose to go to the left which will be a desert setting, they can go straight through which will be a grassland setting, or they can go to the right which will be an aquatic setting. Each land will have a main attraction and two side attractions. The grassland will have a safari type ride where guests will put on glasses to see AR images of megafauna while still seeing the natural landscape.  The images will be overlaid onto reality. Riders will tour the landscape while riding on Safari Jeeps driven by tour guides (actors) who interact with the guests during the tour. We will use large three row safari jeeps that hold 10 guests per car. We plan to start with ten of these Safari Jeeps and adjust the number depending on the volume of guests.

The desert land will have a rollercoaster that is marsupial lion themed, in which guests will ride on the back of these beasts. This ride will be themed accordingly to make sense to the theming where as guests will pull their lap bar down and grip on to the back of a marsupial lion. The concept behind the ride is a marsupial lion is hunting a procoptodon (a giant kangaroo).  It will be modeled after the now defunct Dueling Dragons coaster which was at Universal Studios’ Islands of Adventure in Orlando. There aren’t going to be any loops because it would not make sense to the hunt but there will be sections of fast turns, sudden starts and stops, and galloping motions to induce the feeling of chase. Accordingly, this ride will not only feature the marsupial lion cart, but also a procoptodon.  Like the marsupial lion, the procoptodon will have a pull-down lap bar that you will grab onto its back. You can choose whether you want to be the predator or prey.

The aquatic land will have an immersive high definition video screen tunnel where guests will sit down and ride through water as a narrator describes the habitat and lifestyle of each creature.  Mid-ride guests will experience a surprise attack by a giant squid. The giant squid will wrap its tentacles around the screen and begin to constrict the tunnel. Suddenly the squid is bitten by none other than, you guessed it… Megalodon!!! Megalodon and the squid go at it. The squid starts to constrict Megalodon, Megalodon does a spin move and frees itself from the squid and bites its head, ultimately ending the squid’s life. The ride ends by you seeing the Megalodon swim off into the deep and fade to black.  We would license The Meg and brand it accordingly to draw on it’s existing fandom for this ride.

These three rides would be out E ticket rides. We would also feature a few kid friendly rides such as a megafauna merry-go-round that is themed with various animals that anyone can ride on. It would be a traditional style merry-go-round with lights that flicker and music that plays like those that are at your typical carnival. There would also be an aerial ride where guest fly on the backs of argentavis around in a circle, similar to swings. The beasts would lift 20 feet off the ground and then begin flight.
